How to Create Competitive Advantage

If you want to have a competitive advantage, you have to establish why you deserve that competitive advantage.

What sets you apart from everyone else? What extra services do you offer that make you indispensable?

For example, if you are a real estate photographer, answer these questions:

  • What evidence do you have that your pictures are better and lead to more home sales?
  • What do you know about the real estate market and marketing to home buyers that give you an edge?
  • What are the problems associated with them using non-professional photographers, who likely doesn’t understand the type and angle of pictures that leads to a buyer

Basically, what’s your pitch? What makes you special? Why should I use you?

When you can answer all those questions, and stand by what you offer, you will find those who value the extra mile you go to help them be successful.
